Rules of Warfare
Realism and Fairness
- Teleportation & Glitches. Ender Pearls, Chorus Fruit, pearl stasis chambers, or any exploit to phase through barriers is banned.
- Command Use.
- Forbidden:
/kill
, /damage
, /fill
spamming to simulate unbreakable walls.
- Unbreakable Block Ban. Bedrock, Barrier, Border, Deny, Allow, End Portal Frame, Command Block (beyond map functionality), Structure Block (beyond map functionality) are disallowed in combat zones unless necessary for vehicle functionality.
- TP/TPA only from designated redeployment zones, battlefield use is banned.
- Mode Restrictions.
- No Creative or Spectator in active combat or for scouting.
- Offline Raids. Attacking bases or territories while defenders are offline is prohibited.
Civilian protection
- Civilian Definition. Players not enlisted in a military or militia are considered civilians. If a player takes up arms or joins in combat, they lose civilian protection.
- Safe Zones.
- Civilian bunkers, towns, trade hubs, and declared neutral zones are off-limits to all forms of combat.
- These areas will be clearly marked and maintained by staff.
- No Hostage Abuse. Civilians may not be used as shields, hostages, or bargaining tools. Violations incur immediate sanctions.
- Civilians in War Zones. Civilians entering active combat zones do so at their own risk but may not be intentionally targeted unless clearly combatant.
Invasion Protocol
- Neutral Approval Required
- Any formal invasion (cross-border attack, siege, occupation) must be reviewed and signed off by a staff member not allied with either side of the conflict.
- Requesters submit an “Invasion Dossier” in Discord or via contacting a staff member with
/report
, including:
- Proposed start date & duration
- Objectives & strategic rationale
- Estimated forces & resources
- Reasonableness Criteria
- Must target a declared enemy nation, not civilians or non-combatants.
- Must have in-game justification (e.g., treaty breach, resource denial).
- Must respect current ceasefires and no-raid windows.
- Public Announcement
- Once approved, staff will announce in #server-announcements at least 24 hours before launch, including:
- Invading nation & target
- Start time (with timezone)
- Brief rationale
- Unauthorized Action
- Any unapproved invasion counts as rogue aggression:
- Instant rollback of builds & loot if doable
- Confiscation of war machines
- Potential ban or suspension
PvP Zones & War Windows
- PvP Zones.
- Staff may designate specific regions as “PvP Zones” where combat is always permitted. Outside of these zones, standard RP combat rules apply.
- Zones must be clearly marked and announced.
- War Windows.
- Wars may only occur during scheduled timeframes approved by staff. These timeframes will be announced in advance.
- Outside of war windows, hostile actions must be paused, and ceasefires are in effect.
- Event States.
- The world state may shift between “Peacetime” and “Wartime.” Wartime enables looser rules (e.g. KOS in war zones), while Peacetime strictly enforces RP and protection.
